River Arun Tour - Arundel to Pulborough

This is an AMBER Tour

This tour is graded ‘Amber’, suitable for experienced paddlers. 5 to 6 Hour paddle from Arundel up to Pulborough, the length is approximately 13 miles for start to finish. This tour is planned with the tide assisting you to paddle up the river. But with this in mind this is a long paddle and a hard challenge, so it is important that if you are thinking of coming along that you are able to paddle for 6 hours solidly. The craft used for this tour are single and double sea kayaks.

Join us for a paddle on the River Arun with stunning views of the South Downs, plus see a wide range of flora and fauna, as we meander through areas of protected wetland, and natural beauty. Our tours are aided strongly by the tide, from our launch point we will be pushed along with the tide, allowing us some enjoyable paddling along the 20km journey.

Single Kayaks

1 Person - £90

Double Kayaks

1 Boat - £125

For 6 People (and a Private Session)

Single Kayaks- £400

Double Kayaks - £600

Enjoy the scenery, especially where the river cuts through the South Downs, view the wildlife as the River Arun passes through a number of wild fowl reserves. Note the past industrial activity of the River Arun that once formed part of an inland waterway connecting the South coast port of Littlehampton to the Thames, the old quarries and the Amberley Museum & Heritage Centre on the river banks.

Due to the distance covered - around 20km! We will use our single and double sea kayaks for this trip, and we make sure that you will be pushed along by the tide for much of the journey.
